About Taqueria Maria Bonita

Established in 2018, Taqueria Maria Bonita is a family-owned and operated institution that has grown from a shared vision between Guadalupe Arreola and Kyle Thomas to share the authentic flavors and traditions of Mexico. At the heart of our restaurant is Guadalupe Silva, mother and head chef, who brings her love and inspiration from her hometown of Mexico City, Mexico to every dish. With a passion for sharing the rich cultural heritage of Mexico, our recipes are carefully crafted to transport our customers to the vibrant streets of Mexico.

Building on the success of our first location, we opened our second spot, Taqueria Maria Bonita Bar & Grill, in 2020. And in 2022, we introduced Maria Bonita Cantina, further solidifying our presence in the Williamsburg community. Today, we proudly serve the best Mexican dishes and most authentic flavors in town, with a commitment to continuing our legacy of quality and community service. Our ultimate goal is to create a lasting family legacy for Guadalupe's seven grandchildren, while bringing joy and satisfaction to every guest who walks through our doors.
