About Taqueria Maria Bonita
A family owned restaurant
Taqueria Maria Bonita was founded in August 2018 by Guadalupe Silva Rubalcaba and her three daughters. Her eldest daughter Guadalupe, had worked in the hospitality industry for over 10 years with her now husband Kyle Thomas. Guadalupe's husband, was an integral part of bringing the dream of Maria Bonita to life. His contribution alongside the family played a significant role in the success and growth of the restaurant. It's wonderful to see how their collaboration and dedication have helped Maria Bonita expand to three locations in Williamsburg.

The BEST MEXICAN food !! I tried Taqueria Maria Bonita the first week they opened- and I was instantly hooked! Many meals and years later, I can say that their food stands the test of time. EVERY item I have ordered has blown me away. My faves include the yummy queso and handmade tamales. The owners and staff are amazing. This place has authentic, freshly made Mexican food. There is always a special so you can try lots of things over the course of a month. The drinks are fresh made from ingredients and not big jugs of bought mixes. The service is fabulous. When you go ask for Amanda. A big smile and pleasant demeanor make her a winner. I don't write a lot of online reviews but Taqueria Maria Bonita Bar & Grill is definitely deserving. When it comes to Mexican food I can be somewhat of a snob so let me just start by saying that the food was AMAZING! I asked for some recommendations from our wonderful server, Amanda and she quickly recommended the tamale and the beef intestine taco and while both were incredibly delicious, the tamale may have been the best I have ever had. If I had one critique it's that I prefer a thinner chip with my salsa but they were still very good.Alex W | Source: Yelp
